We are a family-run German company that can look back on a proud history of more than 140 years. Since its foundation back in 1882, only the finest liqueurs, spirits and essences have been produced in our distillery following age-old traditions and family recipes. Today, we place great value in continuing this tradition as well as in production of exceptional and unique products. With the launch of our product line Dwersteg Organic in the 1994, we were proud to be one of the first manufacturers wordlwide to produce the finest liqueurs, spirits and essences with ingrendients from organic farming and fairtrade.

liqueurs the gold medal at the Amphore, Biologiques et en Conversion, Concours International des Produits.

We maintain traditional methods in the art of distillation. This process of maceration extracts the existing plant flavours with the use of alcohol. The preparation of the plant, such as the washing, peeling and shredding, is done by hand. The fruits natural dyes, herbs, roots and woods, are also carried over into the macerates.

Based on old family recipes we continuously develop new liqueur and spirit variations. We let nature, its scents and its flavours, inspire us again and again to create new products.
